Try as I might I wanted to avoid talking about Ukraine. It’s a constantly evolving situation with deadly consequences. As I watched Russian bombs fall on Ukrainian cities, verbal bombs began falling on Joe Biden. This got me thinking about the role of international events on American politics. What role do they have versus what role should they have? Let’s just say I’ve got some complaints.
